Tierce: Regular combination of three cards

Quart: Regular combination of four cards

Run: combination of minimum three cards with identical colour, following each other in a run.

Ending a hand (hand): Finishing a hand, meaning that we place all 14 cards at the same time on the table

Melding: A player at its turn can exercise the right of laying down the cards, if it delivers or if it has previously deliver the melding minimum

Laying off: Adding a card or cards to the combinations previously placed by the player or other players on the table

Push: Joint laying off the thrown card and an own card to a run laid down previously on the table

Melding minimum: The minimum total value of the card value set forth by the rules, which in a regular combination needs to placed on the table.

Discard pile: Total pile of the cards discarded by the player, which is visible to all players.

Renounce: Incorrect application of the prescribed rules, infringement of the rules of the game (The gaming program of Rummy-Party notifies the player about any incorrect play and excludes renounce.)

Reserve: Pile of cards left over after the deal, which are not unveiled. The players use the reserve pile to pick up their cards during the entire play.

Free card: A card, which can be picked up during the first round of the game without any consequences.

Kibitz / "Backseat driver": A person, who does not take part at the game, but monitors it from the back.
